With Mexico's success last night against Brasil hopes might rise that the USA could have a good showing at Copa America. I just want to tell you that you need to squelch any feelings of optimism you might have. I'm generally not a doom and gloom kinda of guy nor an extreme optimist. While some people see the glass half empty and others see it half full, I usually see it as being twice as big as it needs to be. The USSF and Bob Bradley decided that the main goal was to win the Gold Cup which we did. Copa America is looked at as a chance to 'blood' some young players and take a look at fringe players.The thing is all our best young players are in Canada getting ready for the U20 World Cup.
